Dr. David Vecchio
David Vecchio was born and raised in Castlegar, British Columbia.. He attended McGill University on a sports scholarship, during which time he played on the varsity hockey team for four years, graduating with a Bachelor of Science. He attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and graduated Cum Laude in May 2000. During his studies he supported many clubs, again representing the college in hockey for four years. During his studies he engaged in many extra-curricular seminars and is skilled in a variety of adjustive techniques.
Upon graduation David served as an associate chiropractor in Toronto, then as a locum chiropractor, covering as many as twenty different chiropractic practices across Ontario. He entered private practice in 2002, and became highly active in the community of Collingwood. Along with Dr. Melissa Vecchio, he was a nominee for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2003 and 2004. The practice was also nominated in the category of customer service in 2004.
David lectures regularly on a variety of health topics and has been invited to present at many community events and organizations. He is passionate about health and wellness and actively shares his knowledge with his patients.
When not in practice, David devotes his time to his two sons and leads a physically active lifestyle, continuing to play recreational hockey. He also volunteers his time with the Collingwood Optimist Club, a service club dedicated to funding programs for children in the community.
Chantal Haas – Clinic Manager
Chantal brings to Inner Harmony Family Chiropractic a great deal of experience dealing with the public. Chantal has extensive experience in human resources having worked in Toronto for 25 years representing a Human Resource Organization. Chantal manages and assist our patients with their chiropractic care programs to assure they obtain optimal health while following their schedule. She is also involved in all aspects of the clinics administration to assist Dr. Dave with the day to day operations. Chantal has represented many associations as an executive Board Director and extensively volunteered her time assisting your women entrepreneurs as a coach and mentor.
Chantal enjoys hiking in our beautiful surroundings as well as snow shoeing. She has a passion for life and all that it brings.
Vicky Hunter – Chiropractic Exam Assistant
Vicky Hunter is the clinic exam specialist and also assists Chantal with various administrative duties. Vicky attended Sheridan College in Oakville where she studied Business Administration and Literature. Vicky comes to us with a broad range of office administrative experience accumulated over a 30 year career.
Vicky likes to spend time with family and friends at their cottage on Otter Lake and enjoys reading, hiking and travel.
